Born in New Orleans, Dr. Sybil H. Taylor is an independent romantic crime-fiction author with a passion for sharp wit, atmospheric settings, and memorable characters.  She is a devoted wife, mother of three daughters, and MiMi. In her professional life, she is also a clinical pharmacist and entrepreneur.

Her first novel, titled Friendly Betrayal, kicked off her writing journey. Friendly Betrayal is a romantic detective novel featuring a sexy, feisty female detective. Shattered Dreams and Lethal Fortune follows Friendly Betrayal. Her Naomi Bloom Detective collection tracks complex mysteries woven through the shadows, blending suspense and romance.

She began crafting her own mysteries as a teenager, writing clues in the margins of school notebooks. Today, she brings that same curiosity and grit to every book she writes! She delivers twist-filled plots, fierce heroines, and emotional depth that keep readers turning pages late into the night.

When she’s not plotting her next book, she can be found spending quality time with her family, working as a clinical pharmacist, or making skincare products. She remains a proudly independent author, committed to telling the stories she believes in and connecting directly with her readers. Dr. Taylor is currently working on a cozy romance series.
