Shanette Shanté is a New Jersey-based educator by day and author by night who believes euphoria is just one page away. Her debut novel, His to Crown, introduces readers to her signature blend of urban fiction and urban romance—where grit meets luxury, and emotion runs deep.

Known for her poetically descriptive, urban-luxury writing style, Shanette crafts stories that center strong women who are tough on the outside but crave the beauty found in softness. She draws inspiration from real-life experiences and everyday resilience, infusing her work with heart, heat, and authenticity.

When she’s not writing, you’ll find her binge-watching ‘90s Black sitcoms like it’s her first time, rocking bamboo earrings, and finding joy in sunflowers. Her goal is simple: to tell stories that make you laugh, feel, and escape the everyday—if only for a chapter.
