Collection: Erica Denise

Proverbs 3: 5-6- “Trust in The Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own
understanding; in all your ways acknowledge Him and He will make your paths
straight.”
Erica Denise is a 29-year-old Birmingham, Alabama native. Since she was a little
girl, she has loved storytelling, often recounting her days at school or any other creative
story she imagined. Her love of storytelling came from her love of reading. Since she was
four years old, she’s been an avid reader. Most kids have their parents read them
bedtime stories, but she read them to her parents instead. Her love of reading combined
with her love of telling stories developed into a love of writing.
As a child, she dreamed of becoming a writer and that dream has come true.
Erica is so excited to share her love of words and storytelling with readers and it is her
hope and prayer that readers will stay along with her on the journey as she continues to
grow and mature. Each character she pens comes from the heart and is reflective of her
life experiences. She hopes readers will feel connected to each one.
Erica holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Journalism from the University of
Alabama and a Master of Arts degree in Integrated Marketing and Communications
from the University of West Alabama. When she is not writing, she can be found reading
works by fellow indie authors or other BIPOC authors. She enjoys spending time with
her family and friends, traveling and binge watching her favorite shows and movies.
